A key difference between the Patrol R Gen. II sneakers and the previous generation is the modified sole tread, which successfully improves traction on any surface while preserving the overall flexibility of the shoe.

The M-Tac Patrol R Gen. II tactical sneakers are made from suede (natural Italian hydrophobic leather) and original Cordura 1000D—premium, wear-resistant materials that provide protection from mechanical damage and ensure long service life. These materials give the sneakers essential water-resistant, breathable, and highly durable properties, crucial during training, off-road movement, and intense physical loads.

The toe and heel areas are reinforced with leather, which is additionally rubberized using a special technology, adding to the sneakers' durability. The main (frame) insole is made of dense non-woven material, which resists deformation from moisture, and is distinguished by its strength, wear resistance, ecological friendliness, and ability to maintain its shape.

The method of attaching the sole to the sneaker is vacuum-thermal. This means the sole is not stitched where it joins the upper, providing enhanced protection against moisture penetration inside the footwear. The upper layer of the sole is polyurethane, offering shock-absorbing properties, alleviating impact stress, and providing lightness and increased thermal insulation. The lower layer is made of rubber, giving the sole a high coefficient of grip and traction.
