M-Tac earmuffs come in passive and active electronic versions. Passive models block noise mechanically, no batteries, no setup, straightforward protection rated to EN352-1:2002. Electronic models add stereo microphones that process sound in real time, cutting impulse noise above 85dB while amplifying low-level sounds like footsteps and conversation. The result is hearing protection that also improves situational awareness, which matters during hunting, patrol, or any operation where you need to hear what is around you.

Both options adjust to fit and hold up to field use. The passive model folds flat for transport. The electronic model works under a helmet and has a 3.5mm audio input for external devices.
