Rifle Cases
Tactical Rifle Cases and Backpack Gun Cases for AR-15 and AK Platforms

A rifle wrapped in a blanket in the trunk is not transport. It is an accident waiting to happen. A tactical rifle case fixes that with discreet profile, real weapon retention, and enough structure to handle a trunk, a backpack, or a long hike without the contents shifting.
M-Tac builds tactical rifle cases across three formats. Soft cases for basic transport and storage. Backpack cases for actual carry over distance. Sling configurations for fast access to a short-barreled carbine.
Types of Tactical Rifle Cases
Soft rifle cases are the entry point. Foam padding and internal retention straps hold a rifle, carbine, or shotgun up to 130 cm without much fuss. Reinforced handles allow horizontal carry. Internal pockets hold magazines and accessories. This is what most people need for moving a rifle between a safe and a range.
Backpack rifle cases do more. Gen.II Elite models open vertically or horizontally, so access does not depend on how the case is sitting. Three adjustable retention points lock the weapon in place inside the main compartment. Two accessory compartments handle cleaning kits and magazines. Shoulder straps with a chest buckle turn the case into something you can actually wear, not just a long bag with handles bolted on. Lengths cover disassembled AR-15 platforms and AK rifles with folding stocks.
Sling rifle cases trade capacity for speed. A single strap, a compartment that unfolds flat, and a quick-access system built specifically for short-barreled carbines. The weapon comes out faster than from any backpack-style case.
Construction and Features
Cordura 500D and Cordura Hex 1000D handle abrasion and field conditions without breaking down. YKK zippers run throughout, with AquaGuard waterproof zippers on select models for rain protection. Woojin hardware covers buckles and chest straps. EVA foam in the back panel adds rigidity and comfort during longer carries. Loop panels accept patches and identifiers. Gen.II models use a spiral zipper that opens from any side, so the case works regardless of how it is positioned when you need it.
Choosing a Rifle Case
Match the case to the weapon. A 34 inch case handles a disassembled AR-15 or a folded AK. A 41 inch case fits standard configurations. Cases up to 50 inches cover rifles and shotguns that do not collapse. Frequent transport between locations justifies the cost of a backpack-style case. A range trip or storage situation does not need more than a soft case. Fast access to a short-barreled carbine means the sling configuration is worth the tradeoff in capacity.
Who Uses Tactical Rifle Cases
Hunters and sport shooters moving a rifle between home, vehicle, and range. Military and tactical professionals who need both transport and fast access in the same piece of gear. Anyone tired of explaining why their rifle is wrapped in a blanket.
