Sturm Line: Premium Tactical Gear for Military and Field Use

The Sturm Line is M-Tac’s premium collection of military clothing, load-bearing, and carry gear, built around NYCO Extreme fabric, Cordura construction, and field-tested design.
M-Tac Sturm clothing, load-bearing, and carry gear work as a system and hold up under the conditions that break cheaper kits.
NYCO Extreme: The Material Behind the Line
M-Tac Sturm clothing is built on NYCO Extreme fabric from Brookwood, an American manufacturer. At 57% nylon and 43% cotton, it is three times more tear-resistant and ten times more breathable than standard NYCO fabric. It dries faster, holds color longer through repeated wash cycles and sun exposure, and remains the material of choice for US military garments for exactly these reasons.
Multicam and Multicam Black patterns are licensed from Crye Precision and include NIR technology that reduces detection by infrared sensors in low-light conditions.
Sturm Clothing
Pants, combat shirts, jackets, and shorts built as a coordinated uniform system. Stretch panels in Flex fabric (90% nylon, 10% elastane) at the knees, inner thighs, and lower back allow full range of motion without deforming the garment. Integrated knee protection uses Cordura 500D with EVA foam inserts. Loop panels on the chest and sleeves accept patches and identifiers. Chemlights and pen slots on select models. YKK hardware and Murdock webbing throughout.
Combat shirts combine fire-resistant torso construction with durable NYCO Extreme sleeves, built for extended wear under body armor without chafing. Jackets cover mid-season and field use, with NYCO Extreme models forming part of the coordinated uniform system alongside Sturm pants. Select jacket models include underarm ventilation, stowable hoods, and storm flaps with goggle retention.
Sturm Plate Carriers
Features Duraflex quick-release buckles on the cummerbund for rapid removal under stress. Compatible with ESAPI plates in Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Cordura 500D shell, laser-cut MOLLE front panel, AquaGuard admin pocket, reinforced evacuation strap, and 3D mesh ventilation pads for airflow during extended wear. Expandable with soft armor modules for increased fragmentation protection coverage. Plate carrier covers are sold separately from ballistic plates and soft armor.
Sturm Backpacks
Six configurations across two size classes and two strap systems. All models use Cordura 500D and 1000D with suitcase-style main compartment opening, a hydration bladder sleeve, laser-cut MOLLE panels in Cordura Squadron, and YKK and Woojin hardware. Gen.II models add Murdock locking straps that allow partial opening for quick top access and compression of pack volume. Ergonomic strap models add a Tegris thermoplastic back panel for shape retention under load and EVA foam padded shoulder straps with a chest strap.
Who Uses the Sturm Line
Military personnel building a full kit around proven materials. Tactical professionals who run gear hard and replace it when it fails, not before. Anyone who has bought cheaper kit twice and decided to buy quality once.
