Construction and Materials
The upper combines breathable mesh with either synthetic nubuck or high-quality suede leather and Cordura mesh inserts depending on the model. The tight mesh weave keeps sand and dust out while allowing airflow through the boot. A ventilated mesh lining wicks excess heat away from the foot throughout the day.
The premium model uses OrthoLite insoles, a polyurethane foam construction with patented open-pore technology that delivers 95% air permeability and actively wicks moisture. The entry-level model uses PU memory foam anatomical insoles that adapt to the shape of the foot.
The sole on both models attaches by direct injection molding, a method that creates a stronger bond than stitching and provides additional moisture protection at the seam. The upper sole layer is TPU for shock absorption. The lower layer is rubber or dense TPU for grip and abrasion resistance. The aggressive tread pattern handles varied terrain at pace.
Reinforced toe and heel sections protect against impact and extend service life. The premium model is built on a specialized last suited for extended wear and significant physical loads.
