The M-Tac Samurai Hawaiian Shirt is inspired by iconic Hawaiian shirts with origins dating back to the early 20th century. During that era, Japanese immigrants brought traditional kimono and haori fabrics to Hawaii, crafting lightweight garments suited for the tropical climate and birthing the globally recognized Aloha Shirt style.
This model is crafted from high-quality fabric produced by Shibaya Japan. The material is 100% cotton with a fine patterned weave inspired by the traditional Japanese Fushi-ito Orimono technique. The textured surface retains the charm of generational craftsmanship. With a fabric weight of 175 g/m², it is durable, non-see-through, highly breathable, and comfortable even in extreme heat.
This model's defining feature is its authentic Japanese print, inspired by classical Edo-period woodblock prints. It seamlessly blends imagery of samurai, blooming sakura, Japanese maidens, traditional fans, and other elements embodying the aesthetics of Ukiyo ("The Floating World")—a timeless concept in Japanese culture.
The shirt features a loose fit for effortless comfort and freedom of movement. It fastens via a front placket with snap fasteners styled as traditional buttons. A rear hanging loop allows for easy storage, while small side slits at the hem enhance the overall fit.
