The mesh boonie hat from M-Tac is inspired by the legendary American Boonie model. It features a cut with semi-rigid brims and a crown with a thin band sewn around the perimeter for attaching additional camouflage elements. A special chin cord keeps the mesh camo boonie hat securely in place during strong winds.
A boonie hat with mesh is made from durable American NYCO Extreme fabric by Brookwood (nylon, cotton). This lightweight material is approximately three times more tear-resistant, ten times more breathable, and dries faster than standard NYCO fabric. Additionally, the brand's designers have included a mesh insert to enhance ventilation.
