I love these pants. True to fit, and very comfortable. I wish they were not so hard to find in my size. Considering the current state of the Ukraine I guess it is fortunate I can get them.
I am a police officer, and my department, with our staffing crisis, is just happy that I am showing up at this point. A side effect is the uniform policy isn’t as important as it once was. So when my pants got ripped on a call, I knew I needed something better—even if it wasn’t an “approved uniform”. I previously tried the M-TAC polo shirts, and have replaced almost my entire work wardrobe with them, as they are more comfortable, made of a higher quality material, better fitting than our “approved” uniform shirts while being half the price. So when I needed to get new pants, I decided to try M-TAC.
I have previously worn 5.11 pants (approved as part of our uniform policy somehow) but liked them even less than the “preferred” pants—Flying Cross which aren’t even ripstop!
Enter these pants: they have all the features I wanted—namely a vertical zipper pocket on the side of the cargo pocket, ripstop material, and lightweight. But they also have an interesting elastic in the waist that allows the pant to move more freely—it is never overly tight, nor overly loose, and the price is agreeable too. After taking them out for a few shifts, I’m sold—as long as I won’t come into contact with any Lieutenants, Captains, or god forbid—a Chief—I’ll be wearing M-Tac pants.
My only wish is that there was a rubber strip on the interior of the waistband to help keep your shirt tucked in, but I can live without it. Long story short: give these pants a test drive—I bet you’ll love them as much as I do.
but I waiting multicam camo!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, I prefer these pants over the 5.11 Stryker pants. These pants function and feel the same but looks more aggressive. I recommend these pants to anyone especially if you're LE and you need OD green pants.
I'm usually hesitant to buy clothes online before I have a chance to try them on, but I went ahead and gave it a shot with these pants. They fit pretty much the same as my jeans and other pants, so I would say they fit as expected/or your normal measurements. I love the material and they feel great. They also have the insert pocket for soft knee pads that you can get from the same store. If you're looking for a tactical, military, or active lifestyle pair of pants, then these are for you. Awesome.
