The M-Tac Norman windblock fleece jacket is equally suitable for cool and cold weather thanks to WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. In the first case, you can use it as an outer layer; in the second as insulation under a hoodie or a parka. This windproof tactical fleece jacket is made of 100% polyester. The WindBlock membrane grid structure is designed for low and extremely low temperature conditions so that 80% of body heat is reflected from the surface inward and only 20% (excessive heat during active actions at low temperatures) leaves the membrane grid.

Most modern membrane fabrics with surface polyurethane spraying are not designed for extremely low temperatures because polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, which subsequently leads to hardening of the fabric as a whole. The consequence of this is the characteristic "rustling" when traveling. The windblock fleece membrane thermo-fabric does not use polyurethane spraying to protect the membrane, but rather a dense, polyester-structured pile (inside and outside the membrane), which protects the membrane from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside), and creates an additional warming wind block fleece jacket air layer inside out.

    my 5th one. had 2 in large of tan and green but, I lost weight and now have all 3 colors in small. thats a decent investment and to me that says everything about a product. do people keep coming back and I absolutely love this jacket and it's quality, enough to want one in every color. the fit and durability are exactly what you're looking for and this jacket punches way above it's price point.

    It's just the best!

    So far I have 2 of the 3 colors just waiting for the black in large to come back instock (wink wink) they are my absolute favorite jackets, hands down. The room in the arms without the whole jacket being oversized is just great. I'm a medium built guy but the way they fit makes you look like a superhero haha. I love that they're great for Texas winters, windproof without being overly hot, a perfect working jacket but great for a night out! I really love this particular cut and style and I'm sure you will too.
    And please bring back the Black in large....please

    Awesome jacket

    Exceeded my expectations. I’m glad I went with a Large. I’m 5’11”. 170lb, I probably could have went with an XL even for a bit more length, since it will be a hunting jacket, but the large fits nice and I’m still able to layer a hoodie under. The sleeve length is perfect though, does a good job breaking the wind. Very nice jacket for the money.

    This is my second Norman Jacket from M-Tac. These are excellent jackets. My only complaint is on the new one it has a Dual Zipper, which I hate.

    Great jacket for an active user or just casual

    The jacket fits great and it blocks out the cold well. Nice features on the sleeve…zipper pocket, cuff strap, and an inner lining that keeps it air out at the cuff. I’d buy it again.

    I love the fleece, it is warm to an appropriate level, wind blocker fleece is evident. A few minor detractions. It is cut a little small. If I had known I would have ordered one size larger. The zipper is on the “wrong” side for a male article. The cam locks on the hood drawstring were improperly threaded but I was able to correct this. I wish the hood had a pocket to be zipped into. All minor , still a delightful jacket. Thanks. Andrew
